Materials:
Tatting needle size 0.

120  4mm pearl beads.

crochet hook for joining picots.

Yarn: sport weight, fingering, or a fine sock wool.

A fine sock wool was used for this pattern


Approximately 14.5 inches in diameter

Start with the base of the collar.  One point.

Repeat pattern for 20 points, joining chains on the last point. End with chain 6. Tie and hid your ends.

Neck line is chained in three rows. Begin in the picot of first ring.  Continue round and end.

Second round on neck.  Begin between 4 ds of last row in 4 ds chain section.  8 ds and join between 8 ds of previous chain. Continue round and end.  

Last neck round: Begin between 8ds of previous row. 6 ds join to middle of next 8ds section.  Continue round and end.

Finishing: Place collar on the pressing board and apply a damp cloth and press.  Do not apply direct heat to your collar.  The beads will melt.
