What is it?
Well, a moose, of course! When I came to Anchorage, I never expected to see moose in the city walking across the busy streets, but I did. They are huge animals. And yes, it is quite true, moose do come right in town and eat the shrubbery and gardens in the residential areas. I remember the winter of ‘94 when there was record snowfall in Anchorage. In one area snow was piled so high the moose walked right onto the roof of a house to eat the branches of trees they normally could not reach. It was quite the sight and made the local news!

Materials

2 shuttles

Size 20 cotton

0.5 mm crochet hook

Wind two shuttles. Begin with the antlers. Second shuttle is also ball thread.

1. R. 5 - 10 - 5, cl. Reverse work. Pick up second shuttle.
2. R. 16, cl. Do not reverse.
